From ‘I Do’ to Doing It for Others

Hey, I'm Maddie.

I'm a down-to-earth Gold Coast celebrant who loves real moments, relaxed vibes, and ceremonies with heart (and usually a few laughs along the way).

Originally from Newcastle, I now call the Gold Coast home with my high school sweetheart, our two little boys, two very spoiled dogs and more chickens than any normal family probably needs.

So... why did I become a celebrant?

Like a lot of couples, we spent months planning our own wedding.

What I remember most isn't the flowers, the table settings or even the cake.

It was our celebrant.

She made us feel completely relaxed, made our ceremony feel like us, and reminded me that the ceremony isn't just something you have to get through before the party starts—it's the heart of the whole day.

I left our wedding thinking...

"I'd love to do that for other people."

So I did.

What it's like to work with me

If you're after a ceremony that's stiff, overly scripted or full of cheesy wedding clichés... I'm probably not your girl.

But if you want someone who'll genuinely get to know you, tell your story with warmth and humour, and make you feel completely comfortable standing in front of your favourite people...

I think we'll get along just fine.

Every ceremony I write is completely personalised because no two couples are the same.

Your ceremony should sound like you, not like something copied from the internet.

🐶 I'm completely obsessed with my dogs.

🎨 I love painting, writing and being creative.

🌊 I'll always be a Newcastle girl at heart.
