Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 12 August 2026

Welcome to the Maddie Hayes Ceremonies website (maddiehayesceremonies.com). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website. They are separate from, and do not replace, any individual service agreement you enter into with Maddie Hayes Ceremonies when you book a ceremony.

By browsing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

1. About Maddie Hayes Ceremonies

This website is owned and operated by Maddie Hayes, trading as Maddie Hayes Ceremonies, an authorised marriage celebrant based in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland, providing celebrancy services primarily across the Gold Coast, Gold Coast Hinterland, Scenic Rim, Brisbane and Northern NSW, and by arrangement elsewhere in Australia.

2. Use of This Website

This website is provided to help prospective clients learn about Maddie Hayes Ceremonies' services, view ceremony packages, read reviews and testimonials, and make enquiries. You may browse and use the website for these personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not use this website in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use and enjoyment of it.

3. Information Provided on This Website

The content on this website, including descriptions of services, ceremony packages, pricing, availability, testimonials and general wedding or funeral planning information, is provided in good faith for general informational purposes only.

Package pricing shown on this website (for example, prices described as "from") is indicative and subject to change. Final pricing, inclusions and availability for your ceremony will be confirmed directly with you before any booking is finalised.

While reasonable care is taken to keep this website accurate and up to date, no warranty is given that the content is complete, current or error-free, and Maddie Hayes Ceremonies is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content. If anything is unclear, please get in touch directly.

4. Enquiries and Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through this website (including the contact form, phone or email) does not create a booking, contract or reservation of any date. An enquiry simply lets us start a conversation about your ceremony.

A booking is only confirmed once you and Maddie Hayes Ceremonies have separately agreed on the terms of service, typically including a written quote or agreement and payment of any required deposit, outside of this website. Those booking terms (covering matters such as deposits, cancellation, postponement and ceremony delivery) are set out in that separate client agreement, not in these website Terms.

5. Intellectual Property and Copyright

Unless otherwise indicated, all content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, the Maddie Hayes Ceremonies name and branding, and the layout and design of the site, is owned by or licensed to Maddie Hayes Ceremonies and is protected by Australian copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print pages of this website for your own personal, non-commercial use in connection with enquiring about or planning your ceremony. You must not reproduce, copy, republish, distribute, modify or otherwise use any content from this website for commercial purposes, or in any public-facing material, without prior written permission.

Photographs of real weddings or ceremonies featured on this website may also be subject to the copyright of the relevant photographer and are used with permission; they should not be copied or reused.

6. Acceptable Use

When using this website (including any enquiry forms, comments or reviews), you agree not to:

  • provide false, misleading or fraudulent information
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its systems or any related accounts
  • upload or transmit any virus, malicious code or harmful material
  • use the website in a way that breaches any applicable law
