Booking a celebrant for the first time? Totally normal to not know how it all works. Here’s exactly what happens from your first hello to the moment you say “I do”—no stress, no surprises, just a relaxed plan we walk through together.
Your journey, step by step
Step One — Say hello
Fill in the contact form or send me a message with your date (if you have one) and a little about what you’re dreaming up. No pressure, no sales pitch—just a relaxed first chat.
Step Two — Let’s meet
We’ll grab a coffee, hop on a call or video chat—whatever suits you. This is where we get to know each other, talk through your vision, and make sure I’m the right fit for your day.
Step Three — Make it official
Once you’re ready to lock it in, we’ll take care of the legal paperwork (the Notice of Intended Marriage) so everything’s sorted well ahead of your day. I’ll guide you through every form.
Step Four — Write your story
This is the fun part. I’ll get to know your story through a relaxed questionnaire and chats, then write a completely personalised ceremony—and help you with your vows if you’d like a hand.
Step Five — Rehearse (if you’d like)
For the full package, we’ll run through everything beforehand so you know exactly what to expect. No surprises, just calm confidence walking into your big day.
Step Six — Celebrate
On the day, I’ll be there early, keep everything relaxed and running on time, and deliver a ceremony that feels genuinely like you—full of heart, a few laughs, and maybe a happy tear or two.
